Ooh. I'm so full. Been munching away since I'm home. Can't stop eating my chilli powder strips fish crackers. I feel so fat. & ya, I love mooncakes. =P

I almost forgot how to login to blogger. Haha. That's how long it has been.



Back from Beijing! I love Singapore, loads!!

:: 16th - 22nd 09 2007 ::
Felt so dread when I'm at the airport.


3 of us going. But the 2 married brought their hubby along. Thus, I'm all alone. Its ok, cos I get to enjoy Business class.


This is my main dish for breakfast. American style. Its cheese omelette.


This is the lobby of the first hotel that I've stayed. Pretty lobby. Heard that its newly renovated. Noticed its "first"? Haha. Cheryl went to my room & find it scary. Thus, she helped me to swop to her hotel. Thanks girl! Or I'll have to live in fear for a week. Ha.

Due to time constrain, we chose to take the cable car up. Its scary can! Its so open. There's no protection at all, & its so high up!

The Wall. Was panting & sweating after climbing the flight of stairs. Pretty, but hazy.


& we slide down. Its fun!


Our Beijing colleagues showed us the trees for "Chestnuts". 栗子. Now then I know that they ripen this way. With spikey, prickly shells.


Evening. Went walking around at [Wang Fu Jing]. There's this stretch of roadside stalls, selling food. It looks rather disgusting but the ang mohs are enjoying them. Haha. We tasted the smelly beancurd. Its not smelly at all leh. There are fried seahorses & centipedes too! EEK!


Okie. This is the exterior of the second hotel that I've stayed. More cosy room.

Had [Peking Duck] that night. Okie lah. Not bad. But, nothing that fascinating.


Requested the chauffeur to drove us to [Tian An Men] district. Had a walk down the street, snapping pictures. That's [Mao Ze Dong]'s.


Cherry QQ in China!!


This is [Shui Zu Yu], basically, its fish cooked in "Ma La" oil. A piece of bread is given, to drench the oil. *Numb.

Well, didn't really do much things there. Jammed & jammed. So much cars on the road. Walked around after work. Left work place early to shop. Haha! Hate the taxi drivers there. They'll not take the job unless you are going far far away! At silk street, you can really bargain. The sales girls are fierce. They'll scold you if they didn't manage to clinch the deal. They love to hug ang mohs. Haha.

Luckily, Cheryl was forced to extend her stay. =X Or I'll die of loneliness. Haha. She's so brave to be there all alone & went to the places all by herself! Enjoyed gossiping with her till 2am in the morning! Lolx!

I just can't wait to go home! Thanks WJ for letting me go! Saturday, first flight back to Singapore!
